The route was 106 km from Tychy and about 80 km from Oświęcim, depending on the meeting point, and led along the beautiful Vistula Cycling Route running along the banks of the Vistula.
This is a route with charming views of the Vistula River Valley and the surrounding area. You pass ponds, Vistula oxbow lakes and nearby villages that give the route a unique character.

Our cyclists will tell us about their impressions of this trip in the article.
The mood was excellent,
for some "It was great, at times difficult, especially several climbs were difficult for me",
for others "Wind in your hair, sun on your face, horses in the background... What more could you want?".

As for September, the weather was "Dream weather, not too hot", "It was perfect - the sun was shining, the sky was cloudless, not a trace of rain. You could say that it was weather made to order- all you had to do was get on your bike and ride! The kind of day that even if I tried to complain I wouldn't have much to complain about...”,
although for some “Great weather, although cold in the morning... after 3 hours the sun warmed up and it was OK.”

During the route, several different things caught the attention of our cyclists... “Horses, definitely horses. Majestic, beautiful... They also made a HUGE impression on my companions”,
“Beautiful views from the Vistula embankment, few people on the road which is a plus - September. But one note: too few shelters for resting on the route, on the embankment”.
And for a seasoned veteran of bike trips “Flat and effortless for me...”, although here too our interlocutor will surprise “It was quick to get there, although the seat felt like a few hours of riding”

After reaching beautiful Krakow, the entire group was satisfied, happy and proud of the distance covered.
And here are their reactions:
It was all positive emotions. On the one hand – euphoria that I managed to complete the route, and on the other – pure joy that I could finally get off the saddle”, “Great satisfaction and joy”.

As always, Krakow – the market square, the Cloth Hall enchanted them with their charm. “Of course, the beauty of the market square in Krakow with the dignified Mickiewicz monument and the one-of-a-kind beautiful Cloth Hall always arouses delight.”

At the end of the trip there was food, ice cream, a walk through the streets of Krakow. The return was more relaxing, because by train.
Krakow was done, what direction next time??? We'll see

Finally, motivation for those who want to but... well, there is always a but
“I recommend a trip to Krakow by bike to everyone who rides fairly regularly, don't be afraid of the challenge. With the right provisions and breaks, you can do a lot”.
